Eight feet of cast bronze, branching down through a room. This is not a chandelier with a botanical motif. It is a single sculpted branch — irregular, knotted, tapering the way a real limb tapers — descending from the ceiling and throwing off smaller stems as it goes. At the end of each stem, held in a small cast cup, sits a leaf of translucent resin.

The leaves are the light. Each one is veined and textured through its full thickness, so when the integrated LEDs behind them are lit, the veining is visible within the material rather than printed on it. Roughly forty of them, at every angle, catching light from the leaves around them. The effect from below is a canopy seen from underneath.

At 47.2 inches across and 98.4 inches tall, this fixture is architecture. It is specified for double-height entries, open stairwells, and rooms where the ceiling is a volume rather than a surface — and it is designed to be seen from more than one storey.

How it is made

• Cast bronze branch, antique brass patina. The armature is sculpted rather than assembled from tube — every fork, taper, and knot is formed, and the patina is applied by hand so the tone varies subtly along the length.
• Translucent resin leaves. Veined through the body of the material, not surface-printed. Each is individually seated in its own cast cup and can be oriented on installation.
• Integrated LED throughout. Approximately 114 W total across the fixture, concealed entirely within the stems. No visible sockets, no bulbs, nothing to interrupt the form.
• Built to be looked into. Unlike a fixture designed to be seen at eye level, this one is composed for viewing from below and from an adjacent floor.

This is a specified, installed piece rather than a fixture you hang yourself, and it should be planned into the room before it is bought.

• Structural reinforcement is required. A standard ceiling junction box will not carry this fixture. The ceiling must be reinforced back to structure, and that work should be planned with your builder or structural engineer before delivery.
• Professional installation is essential. This is not a two-person job with a stepladder. Installation requires trade electricians, access equipment, and, in most rooms, scaffolding or a lift.
• Ceiling height. At 98.4 inches of drop, the fixture needs a genuine double-height volume — typically 16 feet or more — to hang correctly with clearance beneath it.
• Access for delivery. The crate is large. Confirm that your entry, stair, and lift access can take it.

What does IP20 mean here?

IP20 means the fixture has no protection against water and is for indoor dry locations only. It must not be installed in a bathroom, a pool room, an atrium open to weather, or any location subject to humidity or condensation.

How many leaves are there, and are they all the same?

The leaves are individually cast and individually seated on the branch, each in its own cup, and each is oriented on installation. Because they are cast from natural forms and finished by hand, no two are identical.

How is it delivered?

How do I clean it?

Dust the leaves and branch with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush. Do not use metal polish on the patina — it is an applied finish and polishing will cut through it. Given the height, cleaning will require access equipment; plan for it at installation.
