Taliesin Floor Lamp – Tall Wooden Slatted Architectural Standing Lamp for Living Room, Walnut & Black

The Taliesin Floor Lamp is a tall architectural floor lamp built from stacked wooden slats, measuring L 41 cm x H 182 cm (L 16.1" x H 71.65"), available in Walnut or Black, designed for the living room, reading corner, bedroom and entryway.

The structure is a vertical tower of horizontally stacked wooden boxes, and the gaps between them are the point: light escapes sideways in bands rather than pouring straight down, so the lamp throws a striped, patterned glow onto nearby walls and ceiling. Unlit it reads as a piece of joinery rather than a light fixture. At 182 cm it stands taller than most floor lamps — close to six feet — so it works as a vertical anchor beside a sofa or in an empty corner where a shorter lamp would disappear. Walnut warms a room with wood and cream tones; black gives a graphic silhouette against pale walls.

Questions buyers ask

How tall is the Taliesin Floor Lamp?
It stands 182 cm tall, which is 71.65 inches or just under six feet, on a 41 cm footprint. It is taller than a typical floor lamp, so measure your ceiling height and the space beside your sofa before ordering.

What kind of light does it give?
Light escapes through the gaps between the stacked wooden slats, casting horizontal bands across nearby walls and ceiling rather than a single downward pool. It works as ambient and accent lighting; for focused reading light, pair it with a task lamp.

What bulb does it use?
It takes an E14 base bulb, either LED or Edison filament, which is not included. E14 is the small screw base — check you are not buying E12 candelabra or E26 medium.

Is it dimmable?
No. It operates from a foot switch on the cord and is not dimmable.

How is it powered?
It plugs into a standard outlet using the supplied 150 cm cord with switch plug, so no hardwiring or electrician is needed. The cord can be extended on request.
