Washi Table Lamp

The inspiration for the design of the Washi Table Lamp stems from a visit to the Japanese fishing village of Gifu, where observing the fishermen at work provided a unique perspective. In this village, the people rely not only on trained cormorants for hunting but also on lanterns to attract fish. This table lamp is made of bamboo, covered with fine paper, reflecting the traditional methods used by the fishermen.

For the washi paper lamp, the designer chooses paper from the mulberry tree, as it softens the light, making it gentle and evenly distributed. As part of our washi table lights collection, this distinctive lamp enhances the beauty of any living space by adding a touch of Japanese artistry and serene illumination. Whether placed in a living room, bedroom, or a minimalist office, the Washi Lamp contributes to a tranquil and aesthetically pleasing environment, making it an ideal choice from our lamp store.
